Will the TruXedo® Deuce work with my in-box toolbox or other in-box cargo management systems?
With the wide variety of toolboxes and cargo management systems available, this will vary by application. Here are some guidelines to follow to help you – The top of the toolbox or cargo management system must be ½” below the top of the pickup bed. The toolbox length must also be a minimum of 7” shorter than the width of the inside front of the pickup bed. Subtracting 7” allows the toolbox to be opened when the cover is rolled completely open. When the cover is flipped open, the length of the opening from the front of the bed to the hinge is 29”. The toolbox should be spaced 3-4” away from the front of the pickup bed so it does not interfere with the latch.
Why is there a hole punched on the rear of the passenger side rail of theTruXedo® Deuce, but no latch present?
The reason the rails are all punched the same way is to keep them uniform, for manufacturing efficiency and to reduce tooling costs. By doing this, we are able to keep manufacturing time down to get you your orders faster and also to keep the price of our products lower.
Why is my cover holding water after the rain?
Water pooling on a fabric cover is normal. Our cross tubes are not arched, the covers are designed to sit flat so some water will sit on the vinyl. Once you drive your truck, the water will move off the cover and return to its original shape. Make sure to re-tighten the hook and loop fasteners along the length of the bed.
Where do I find the serial number on my Deuce?
Roll the cover to the cab of the truck, the serial number can be found on a silver sticker attached to the front aluminum bar, on the driver side.
Dual bed access - roll the cover towards the cab for full bed access, or fold back the front panel to access cargo closer to the cab.
Made of the highest quality material, this tear resistant fabric is constructed to help protect your cargo from the harshest of elements.
Anodized single trigger latch requires only one finger to open the cover. The cover can be easily removed, without tools, providing true 100% full bed access.
